Radio personality and leader of Free the Sheeple Movement, Daddy Freeze, and his mother are getting ready for a legal battle with Pastor David Ibieyomie over his vicious verbal attack on mother and son in the video that went viral last weekend. Ibieyomie, founder of the Port Harcourt-based Salvation Ministries, in the video believed to have been recorded during Sunday’s church service, had denigrated Daddy Freeze, questioning his paternity and claiming he was born on a ship to a Somalian father. The pastor was responding to a perceived attack by the broadcaster on Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Worldwide AKA Winners Chapel. Daddy Freeze and his mother, a professor of Law, have contacted famous lawyer, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), with whom they have set up a meeting in Ibadan on Friday. Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has called on northern traditional rulers not to relent in spearheading the campaigns to avoid the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the region, stressing that the cost of treating COVID-19 patients is very expensive .  The governor who made the call on Monday at the executive committee meeting of the traditional rulers chaired by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, noted that it costs about N400,000 to treat one COVID-19 patient. While noting that traditional rulers have critical roles to play in ensuring that people at the grassroots adhere to government’s directives as part of measures to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus and other diseases, El-Rufai told the customary leader that treating the infected is digging a big hole in the government’s coffers. Popular Broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze, has called on the public and the police to hold the founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, responsible should any harm comes to him. Daddy Freeze, who is the Convener of the Free the Sheeple Movement and Leader of the Free Nation in Christ, said this in a video while reacting to Ibiyeomie’s threats. Ibiyeomie, had during a sermon in Port Harcourt on Sunday, cursed Daddy Freeze, threatening to kill h im for allegedly insulting his mentor and founder of Living Faith Church aka Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo.           The Supreme Court, on Monday, in Abuja upheld the election of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State putting an end to all the litigation against his election on November 16, 2019. The seven man panel of the Supreme Court Justices, in a unanimous judgement, said the November governorship election that took place in the State was substantially compliant with the provisions of the electoral act.  The apex court dismissed the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Musa Wada, who challenged the outcome of the gubernatorial election  that held in the state last year.  Though the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Ibrahim Tanko, led the seven-man panel that heard the case of the appellants, the lead judgement was however prepared by Justice Inyang Okoro and read by Justice Uwani Abba-Aji.  The apex court said it was satisfied that the the Court of Appeal neither denied the Appellants fair hearing, nor wrongl...

                                 The Chinese Company handling the Transport University 'CCECC' said they are building the University for free and same attention given to the rail transport development will be given to it. This according to the honourable Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaech... The minister says the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) has already started working at the site . According to him, the project is worth $50 million.   A professor of political economy and management expert, Pat Utomi, has faulted the system of governance in Nigeria. Despite being a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Utomi believes the present administration is finding it difficult to connect to the solutions to the problems of the country. “I think that the government is crippled; it is not connecting to the solution,” he said during his appearance on  Channels Television’s Sunday Politics .
